So yesterday was absolutely beautiful, and I had the day off to do some errands for my sons upcoming birthday. Plus We had a get together to go to last night so I wanted something easy, but a bit nicer than a tee and shorts.

I absolutely love my Dear John Hampton shorts for days like today! They are still just a basic short but with the clean cuff and slant pockets can definitely dress up if needed. Add a basic blouse (this is one of my many Portofino shirts, no not from Sophie but we frequently have a version of these) to dress the look up vs a basic tee and you've got it!
I have tons of these style of tops and I highly suggest them! They are casual enough to just wear with denim but will dress up perfectly! I especially love them for tucking in like this too. It just adds a little polish to a really easy look. Just look for something with this type of chiffon material, it looks dressier than cotton but is super easy to care for still!

I just got my Madeline Skate wedges in, so of course I had to wear them! They work perfect because they're comfy with just a slight wedge and not too dressy for this look. Top it off with some fun jewelry and your set!
